AT TRAVIS PARK CHURCH

Downtown San Antonio is very romantic, especially with our famous River Walk as an attractive backdrop for wedding festivities. A block from the River Walk and central to several five star hotels, Travis Park United Methodist Church’s location offers brides and grooms many options for places to have neighboring elegant receptions. We are also on the picturesque horse and buggy route where many newly-married couples love to go on their first stroll together as husband and wife.

Travis Park Church welcomes peoples of all faiths and walks of life. Visitors are impressed with our grandiose pipe organ as well as our exquisite stained glass windows. Our recently renovated sanctuary now offers spacious seating (350 downstairs and 400 more in the balcony) plus a center aisle perfect for a beautiful processional. We are an historical church, “as old as Texas” but we are not old-fashioned. We live by our stance of unconditional love and justice in action.

Travis Park Church has beautiful reception and rehearsal dinner spaces available. We also offer dressing areas for the bride's and groom’s parties.

Discounted parking is available to the wedding party and guests.
