The youth will stuff plastic eggs this Sunday School for the annual Easter Egg Hunt which will be held 11:15 a.m. on Easter Sunday, April 21. The egg hunt is for children pre-school through 5th grade and will take place at Travis Park Plaza this year.
We will invite any migrant families who are at the bus station to attend worship with us on Easter Sunday, and join in our egg hunt.
Please plan on bringing your own Easter basket. St. Mark Episcopal Church is donating baskets for migrant children to use during the hunt.
Our other annual egg theme is Easter egg decorating. We will have a special hard-boiled egg dying time this year: Tuesday April 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Labyrinth room. This is a free parking Tuesday in the City garage at St. Mary’s and Travis. We dye approximately 300 eggs to give away on Easter Sunday at Corazón breakfast. If you would like to volunteer to put the dyed eggs in baskets and for Corazón on Easter Sunday at 8 a.m., please contact Susan Snow at email@example.com. They are then distributed when people go through the breakfast line that morning.
