Questions: A Sunday School Class to Nourish the Soul

Nourish your spirit while making connections with others over real discussions. Dive deeper into who you have been, who you are, and who you are becoming. Drop in any time. There are no lesson plans, only questions. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Come as you are and share your heart. This is a safe space to explore life and faith together, no matter where you find yourself in your spiritual journey. All ages are welcome, but it is recommended for grades 9 and above. This class is led by David Stone and meets most Sundays after worship in Room 212.

United with Faith (UWF)

United with Faith (UWF), formerly known as United Methodist Women (UMW) and Women of Wisdom (WOW), welcomes all. The group leader and active members have confirmed this is a safe and inclusive space for our transgender, non-binary and all genders that wish to be a part of our group. Our connection is to a larger organization (United Women in Faith). As it fosters spiritual growth and develops leaders, United Women in Faith seeks to improve the lives of women, children and youth in the United States and internationally. For more information about how to join this group and when we meet, please email Mary Jo Villalobos or join the group on Realm!

Social Justice Sunday School

Our group meets in person most Sundays in Room 319 after worship ends. We have a friendly, informal and welcoming group that is easy to be part of. If you would like to attend, you are welcome! This group primarily communicates via REALM. To learn more about this group, please contact Dr. Linda Solis.

Our Ministries

Corazon San Antonio Ministries

Founded in 1999, Corazon Ministries, Inc. operates in the heart of downtown San Antonio serving our homeless and marginalized neighbors by providing hot meals, clothing, warm showers, hygiene items, access to primary medical care, optometry and dermatology care, barber haircuts, art therapy, recovery and prayer groups, and Bible study. We serve hot, nutritious meals and rely on our volunteers each week to provide unconditional love and life-giving support to our neighbors.

Deborah’s House

Deborah’s House supports women who have completed an in-patient program for their ongoing recovery from the disease of addiction by providing a safe sober-living home, spiritual mentoring and modeling of life skills for their continued success.
