Let’s give a big welcome to Cathy Brewer, our new Chief Administrator/Operations Officer and Shiloh Morris, our new Family Life Director!
Cathy “Cat” Brewer – Chief Administrator/Operations Officer
Hello Travis Park Church! I’m from Phoenix, Arizona. I grew up in Ohio and have lived in El Paso, Phoenix, Seattle, and Mililani, Hawaii. I worked for the Boeing Company on both the commercial and government programs. I received my MBA from the University of Phoenix and hold a certificate in basis web design from Phoenix Art School. I worked for 10 years as a Travel Agent for the Boeing Company. I have over 15 years of experience as an Executive Office Administrator and served as the Office Manager with Transair Hawaii, a cargo company. I retired from Boeing last year but, decided I am not ready for that lifestyle just yet.
I have three adult children, Alisha (Rob), Nickolas (Leilani), and Ciara, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grands. I moved to Texas in January of this year to be closer to family. I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to share my skills and knowledge to progress my new church family and friends. I am enthusiastic about this new journey God placed in and excited to go where God leads within this organization. My new hobby is refurbishing my home, I also enjoy listening to books, traveling in my travel trailer and just exploring new places.
Shiloh Morris – Family Life Director
Hi, all! My name is Shiloh Morris and I am super excited to be coming to Travis Park to serve as the Family Life Director. For the past 5 years I have been serving as the Associate Pastor of Student Ministries at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Lubbock, TX, another Reconciling congregation and the only one in the Northwest Texas conference. I am absolutely excited to be moving to San Antonio and having the opportunity to be in ministry with Travis Park and all of you. I graduated with my B.A. in Religion from McMurry University in 2012 and then graduated with my Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology, SMU in 2016.
To help everyone get to know me a little bit better: My favorite Gospel is Luke. I have three cats and one dog. I enjoy spending time outside when I can, especially around rivers. I like to read, play the occasional video game, play disc golf, and watch TV shows and movies, especially those in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
